Welcome Our Newest Chapter: South Salt Lake/Sugar House

UTRU is excited to announce the formation of its newest chapter: UTRU South Salt Lake/Sugar House!

UTRU SSL/SH is an official local chapter of UTRU and has been formed to specifically advocate for the transit needs of those who live, work, and play in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley.

UTRU is working to help find additional leadership and members for the group, so if you are interested in getting involved, be sure to sign up on the UTRU SSL/SH chapter page.

But, I hear you say, “I don’t live, work, or play in South Salt Lake or Sugar House, where is the chapter for me?” Well, don’t worry! We are actively taking applications for other local chapters based on geography, transit types, specific routes, and/or common interests. To get started or to learn more, visit our start a chapterpage.

Chapters can be based on geography, transit types, specific routes, or common interests, and UTRU will provide chapters with the support they need to start, maintain, and grow.

If you are interested in starting a chapter, click here to download the application. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to curtis.haring@utru.org.
