Our Newest Tool: Current Proposed Transit Projects

We know, we know: We here at UTRU do enjoy coming up with maps and projects we would like to see - but what about the projects that policymakers have actually proposed? After all, how can you advocate for a project if you don't even know a project exists?

It is with this in mind that we have released a map and list of current proposed transit projects for you to better educate yourself on what transit projects are being discussed.

We looked at current plans proposed by Utah's 7 major transit systems and listed those that have been proposed, studied, or are advancing through the construction process.

Our Annual October Meeting is Coming Up - Are You A Voting Member?

In October, UTRU will be holding its annual convention to elect officers and discuss what we will focus on in 2024. Though all are welcome to attend, you do have to be a dues-paying member in order to vote and be eligible to run for the board.

A Thank You to UCAIR and the University of Utah

Recently, UCAIR, in cooperation with the University of Utah School of Medicine, awarded UTRU a $2,000 grant to develop and provide transit education services to faculty and staff at the U Medical Center. 

UTRU is developing the curriculum now and expect to provide these trainings later this year.
