Start a Chapter - Make a Difference

UTRU chapters guide the organization’s advocacy and outreach efforts and the work chapters do create on-the-ground changes in the communities they serve.

Chapters can be based on geography, transit types, specific routes, or common interests. Don't be intimidated by the process, UTRU makes chapter building easy by providing access to contacts, a chapter-specific website on UTRU's website, and membership management software. UTRU will do the work while you do the advocacy.

Join UTRU's Board and Guide the Future of Transit in Utah

UTRU is taking nominations for members of the Board of Directors and we want you to join us in guiding the future of the organization!

Board members meet monthly and assist the Executive Director in helping grow the organization. Though all are welcome to apply, we would like to encourage women, members of minority populations, and those outside of Salt Lake County to strongly consider nominating themselves. 

We are taking nominations until midnight on Saturday, October 8, so throw your name in today!
